Description
In the Metauro river valley, the history of olive oil dates back to thousands of years ago: its low hills, mild climate and its tufaceous/sandstone soil have turned olive trees into real protagonists of our landscape
The qualities grown in the area are: Raggiola, Leccino, Frantoio and Moraiolo. They yield top-quality extra-virgin oil.
Picking is strictly manual and is done in the second half of October. The olives are cleaned of the leaves and then cold pressed in stone mills, with continuous cycle, to preserve the fruit typical flavour and perfumes.
