The Farm

The Di Sante Farm is a family-run business, where the passion for wine has been handed from one generation to the next for more than a hundred years. It all started with grand-grandfather Timoteo who, at the end of the 19th century, started to make wine for his family, assigning one small plot near the village of Magliano to the cultivation of grapevines. During the following years his son Oddo also shared the same love for the countryside: he took care of the family’s vineyards and opened a small “osteria”, the traditional Italian wine bar. Today, the farm is run by Roberto Di Sante, his wife Gigliola and their son Tommaso. Over the last years, production has increased and the business has grown to include new land and a recently-built winery in the village of Carignano.

Our farm is committed to organic production, with extreme care and sensitivity towards the protection of the environment, the health of those who live and work in this area, and towards the quality of life of future generations. We own thirty hectares of vineyards on the sunny hills behind Fano, at only few kilometres from the sea, between the Monastery of Monte Giove and Carignano thermal water area, and an olive grove with 4,000 trees, some of them century-old, on the hill slopes in Carignano, around the winery building.

Our products are extra-virgin olive oil, certified as fully organic, white wine Bianchello del Metauro, Colli Pesaresi DOC (which stands for “original location certified”), Colli Pesaresi DOC Sangiovese, Marche White IGT (IGT identifies wines that come from a specific region within Italy), Marche Red IGT, Charmat method sparkling Brut, Grappa di Bianchello and Grapes Juice (soft drink).
